It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (2/21/22)

Happy Monday, and happy day off to anyone else who was able to have one today!

February ends in a week, and I can’t believe how quickly it flew by! I’m really glad that my “plan as you go” reading format has been working out for me so far. I’ve had no stress about reading, or blogging, and it has been so nice. SO NICE. I’m a little behind on bingo related things, but that’s okay too. All in good time. This place is my escape, and I want to keep it that way. Books are my friends!

So in that spirit, let’s see how my reading last week and this week look.

Read Last Week:

Finished these two last week, and they couldn’t BE more different! All the Right Reasons was a funny, sweet, and just all around lovely romp into the world of reality television. I had a lot of fun following along with Cara and her mom, and I giggled a lot. Simultaneously I was reading Under the Whispering Door for a buddy read and sobbing my eyes off. TJ Klune seriously just makes my heart sing! Their writing just pulls you in, evokes every emotion possible, and then pats you on the head and sends you back out into the world. I adored this story and I miss it already.

Currently Reading:

Random Hoopla pick is on the menu this week, mainly because I absolutely loved the narrator! I’m excited about this one, and hopeful it’ll live up to my expectations.

Reading Next:

This week, all leading up to Saturday, I’ll be reviewing all the books in The Tea Dragon Society series! I LOVE these books, and their stunning artwork. For some reason I’ve never formally reviewed them though. So now that I’m on a blog tour…. it’s time. Stay tuned!

That’s it for me! What are you reading this week?

I loved Under the Whispering Door, too! I listened to it on audio at the end of last year, and it made me laugh out loud and was also so moving. Glad you enjoyed it.

BTW, I just love the look of your blog – the blues and muted colors are just so pretty and soothing.

Hope you enjoyed your books this week (I’m a little late with my visits!)
