It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (4/3/17)

Is it truly Monday again already? I tell you, I need a vacation. The bright side of it all is that, despite not having a vacation, I’ve actually been getting a fair amount of reading done! I’m well ahead of my reading goal, and actually feeling really good about the way this year is shaping up. I’ve had a lot of great reads, and that’s just too amazing for words. I’ve actually been binge reading graphic novels lately, but here are three of the books that I’ve finished most recently. The Redemption of Brian O’Connor ended up well worth the time…

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (3/13/17)

Greetings bookish people! It’s that time again. Time to do a check in, and see how the reading pile is dwindling. (Hint: it’s still not because you all recommend so many good books!) The bright side is that I’m well ahead of schedule for my reading challenge, and I’ve actually been enjoying a pretty fair amount of what I’ve been reading! I just need to learn to ease off on the review books now and then. Three very different reads have been devoured over the last week or so. I’ve been trying to vary what I read, to keep myself…

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (2/13/17)

Greetings bookish people! It’s that time again. Time to do a check in, and see how the reading pile is dwindling (it’s not, that’s wishful thinking at best). The bright side is that I’m on track for my reading goal this year, and feeling really good about what I’ve put my grabby little hands on. It’s been a year of pretty darn good reads so far. I’ve been trying to read whatever I feel like picking up, rather than sticking to anything in particular. Thus, why this list look varied! The Firebird had been sitting on my Audible list for eternity,…

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (1/9/17)

Oh look, it’s the first check in of the year! I shied away from memes for a while there, because I didn’t want to rely too much on things that weren’t reviews, but I’ve come to realize that I really should just post what I love. As it turns out, this meme is one of those things! I really enjoy checking in, and seeing what other people are reading as well. So, this is a keeper! This was actually a pretty amazing week of finished reads. I finally finished up Revival by Stephen King which, while it wasn’t what I was…

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (11/07/16)

Click the button to join in the fun! It’s officially November and that means holidays are in full swing around here. We’re planning our annual trip to our hometowns and I’ve already started baking up some delicious rum cakes to share. Holiday season tends to go one of two ways for me, either I get a TON of reading done (thanks to flights, layovers and general down time) or I get no reading done because I’m running around like a chicken with my head cut off. I’m hoping for the former this year.  October was a slow reading month for…

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (10/24/16)

Click the button to join in the fun! Someone pinch me, because I can’t believe that the end of October is already upon us. I hadn’t even realized that the last time I participated in these meme was last month, and now I feel like so much reading time has gotten away from me! Alas! Why can’t bookworms just be paid to read? On the bright side, staying home with a recuperating puppy has actually allowed me a fair bit of reading time. So there is much to report! Here we go! I sadly had to abandon my Halloween bingo…

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (9/5/16)

Click above to join in the fun! Long weekend = tons of reading time. Which, to be honest, I’ve really been craving. Reading on the train only takes me so far. Plus, as it turns out, I’ve actually gotten some pretty amazing books for review! So it’s just been a win all around, and a great reading week. Let’s check it out, shall we? I’ve had a mix of review books, backlogged reads, and books for the Halloween bingo that I’m playing on my plate this last week! It’s made for a fun and very random set of reads. Devil…

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (7/4/16)

Click above to join in the fun! It’s been a really productive reading week, and I’m feeling great! The fact is, I only worked in the office two days last week. So what to do when you’re free with no other commitments? Why, read like crazy of course. I’ve been in the mood to devour books, and that’s what I’ve been doing. It’s been an interesting mix of reading for me lately. A little MG, a little YA, and a lot of Contemporary for the most part. I guess I’ve kind of needed that lately. Something real to sink my teeth…

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (6/6/16)

Click above to join in the fun! After a second long weekend in a row, this Monday is kicking my behind. The good news is that I actually got quite a bit of reading done, and a lot of relaxing. So I can’t complain too much :). Plus, I get to finally go on vacation at the end of next week! So that’s something to look forward to. Anyway, enough rambling. Here’s my bookish outlook. Some pretty adorable reads this weekend! All of my library holds came in at the same time, so I had a lot of good reading…

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (5/16/16)

Click above to join in the fun! I always want to start this post out with a “Happy Monday” title of some sort, but let’s be honest with ourselves. Mondays are hard. I spent most of the weekend out at car shows with my husband which, while they were fun, didn’t allow for much reading or relaxing time. Needless to say, I’m already looking forward to the weekend. On the bright side, I did finish some gems! So here’s the lowdown. I’ve actually been really good lately about finishing up books, before moving on to the next one. Mainly because…
