It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (4/27/26)

Happy Monday bookish people! I hope this Monday is being kind to you so far. I’ve started doing analog Sundays, and slowly increasing my off social media time by a little more every few weeks. It has been lovely. It’s a lot easier to tackle the Monday scaries when you’ve had a relaxing day before that becomes the reality. Highly recommended! Now let’s see how my reading has been going, shall we? Read Last Week: I didn’t actually finish any books last week because work was absolutely insane, and all I wanted to do when I got home was watch…

Hello friends, and happy Tuesday! It is Spring, and finally the weather has decided to be lovely. Books on My Spring 2026 To-Read List I hereby declare that I absolutely adore Katherine Center, and will read absolutely anything that she puts out. Sunday Post #2: Spring is Here!

It is finally Spring my friends, and my heart couldn’t be happier! Unfortunately my favorite season was ushered in by a heatwave week, where we couldn’t open the house because it was over 90F outside every day. But yesterday and today are beautiful, and I’m enjoying it all while I can. Bees and butterflies abound! A quiet week, as work has crazy and it was just so hot outside not much motivation was had. And, if we’re being honest, probably a rambling post as well. I try to keep this blog a mix of posts that are book related and…

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (3/9/26)

Happy Monday bookish people! I hope this Monday is treating you well, especially those of you who still have to deal with daylight savings time. I woke up to a very dark morning and I’m not afraid to admit that I’m fairly exhausted today. On the bright side, it was smooth sailing on the transit commute to work. So it’s not all bad. Let’s see how my reading has been going so far. Read Last Week: I only finished one book last week. My hold for Don’t Let the Forest In by CG Drews came in, and I’ve been in…

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (2/9/26)

Happy Monday bookish people! I meant to come back to the blog last week, but it just didn’t happen. I didn’t realize how much the things going on around me lately were really affecting me until I hit the weekend and completely burnt out. So this last week I took things easy and was kind to myself. I’m feeling more refreshed, and I’m back! Read Last Week: Last week I finished up It Came From the Closet and I’m holding my review steady at four stars! I liked some of the essays more than others, and one of the narrators…

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (1/26/26)

Happy Monday bookish people! I blinked and it’s nearly the end of January. Somehow this month has simultaneously felt endless and so short at the same time. Probably because I’m trying to balance doing things I enjoy (reading, puzzles, etc.) and staying updated with the goings-on in the world. It’s a wild rollercoaster for sure. Still, here we are at the end of the month! I’m pretty proud of how I did too. Let’s see how things are shaping up! Read Last Week: In my quest to complete NetGalley books I’ve neglected for too long, I borrowed The Nobody People…

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (1/4/26)

Happy Monday bookish people! It’s the first real feeling week after two weeks of work limbo. I didn’t take any extra time off so I didn’t descend quite as deeply into questioning my existence as most of my friends, but even having those two Thursdays off in a row kind of threw off my entire schedule. I swore Saturday was Sunday for the majority of the day, and so all of Sunday felt like an extra blessing. So very nice, time to catch and to read! Without further ado, let’s get into the first update of the year! Read Last…

Can’t Wait Wednesday: The Fox and the Devil

Happy Wednesday friends! If you’ve made it this far, just know that you’re doing amazingly well! I know the world can feel pretty heavy lately. So I’ve taken to marking every Wednesday as an accomplishment. I survived the first half of the week, how about that? My book choice this week was actually sent to me as a review copy by Del Rey (thank you!) and I immediately fell in love. I mean… look at this COVER. If that didn’t already convince you, take a good look at the synopsis because that’s what really sold me on reading this. I…

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (9/29/25)

Happy Monday bookish people! This morning started with a doctor’s visit and some updated vaccines, so I’m feeling a bit sluggish today. I’m at home though, so I’m able to work from my bed and drink plenty of tea. So it’s all good! I actually had a really relaxing weekend, with ample time to read books. As the weather cools down, I become more and more myself. Want to see what I’ve been reading? Let’s go! Read Last Week: After having Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson on my shelf since approximately 6 months before it actually released, I finally read…

Top Ten Tuesday: Books On My Fall 2025 To-Read List

Hello friends, and happy Tuesday! I’ve been excited about this prompt since I saw it a few weeks ago, because Fall is my heaviest reading season. Things settle down, the weather cools, and it’s finally nice enough to throw open the windows and cozy up underneath a blanket to read. I simply can’t wait to dive into my spooky season reading! (Clicking the covers will take you to the GR pages.) Books on My Fall 2025 To-Read List I’ve been meaning to reread this short story collection for a while, if I’m being honest.
