    Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, reading besties! I know that the last two years have been a little on the rough side, so my wish for you is that you just be kind to yourself. Books to Start 2022 – A Quick List

I am monumentally poor at sticking to a real TBR each month. I’ll admit it! I always set one, and then end up frolicking off to some other book that catches my eye, or doing a reread because it’s something that I feel like at the moment. Since I know that about myself, I’ve stopped making monthly TBRs. Instead, I’ve decided to pinpoint three books that I’d like to tackle each quarter of the year, and just fit them in when I can! So here’s the first three that I’ve decided to start with. First off is this delightful novel…

    Blog Goals for 2022

It’s been quite a while since I’ve actually set blog goals, mainly because I went through a phase where setting any kind of goal just sounded too stressful. Between going back to school, the ongoing pandemic, and working hard to understand my anxiety, I’ve been at max for work done. Still, I do miss setting at least a few intentions for the new year. It gives me something to focus on, and reminds me that this is my space! It can look like, and be, whatever I want it to be. So let’s set some goals, shall we? Goal #1…

    Books I Missed in 2021

Inevitably, every year I get to the last month and realize that there were so many books on my radar that I just never got to. It’s a fact! I mean, so many amazing stories come out month after month. I’d need to be immortal to give them all of the love they deserve. However, there are always a few books that I was SO EXCITED for and then things got busy or I had too many review books to read, and they just vanished into the ether. This is a post to honor the top 5 of these books.…

    2021 Wrap Up Time!

It’s the beginning of December, and that means it’s wrap up month! You can expect to see various posts this month talking about this last year on the blog, and what we hope to see coming up in the new year! To say that 2021 was a weird year would be an understatement. It was almost worse than 2020, mainly because I kept having so many feelings about whether things would get better or not. I sent the bar low on my reading goal, because I knew (from a whole year of experience) that my attention span wouldn’t be great.…
