August Reading List
It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these, for good reason actually. I’ve been so all over the place that setting any reading goals seemed like an easy way to weight myself down. I’m not good at failing. Hahaha. I’m getting better slowly, but I just figured it wasn’t worth feeling down about not getting what I wanted to get read, actually read. Now that life has settled, and I feel good, I’m going to set a small goal. Only 3 books this month, and here they are. I’m only 3% into Kill the Farm Boy and this book…

Happy August!
Depending on where you are in the world it’s either August today, or it will be very soon. Can you believe that an entire month of summer has already flown by? Hopefully it was as relaxing for you as it is for Pikachu up there. Tina’s been valiantly holding down the fort here for me, while I’ve been swamped in work. Things should be headed back to normal now though, and that’s a great feeling! I have a massive backlog of reviews for all the books I’ve read, and also some fun stuff to share with you that I get…

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (7/9/18)
Happy Monday, friends! If it’s as hot where you are as it was here this weekend, please know that I’m thinking of you. Staying inside and reading this weekend was the best possible thing I could have done. I’m hoping you did the same! Here’s what I’ve been working my way through. Last time I did this meme I’d been through a bout of really excellent reads. This time around, I’m sad to report that it’s been more of a “meh” kind of run. The Feed was slow and failed to live up to what I was hoping for. Furyborn drove me…

Slowly, so slowly.
It’s been a month, y’all. I’m coming up on my birthday weekend, which has made me realize that June is almost over and WOW it’s flown by. Work has been so insanely busy, sickness overtook me, books have been slowly (very slowly) read, and I haven’t had the motivation to write a review. All of my intentions to stockpile reviews posts have been thwarted, and so this blog sits empty more than it should. *sigh* The good news this year is that I haven’t fallen into a horrible reading slump like I normally do around this time. I’ve still been…

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (6/18/18)
Happy Monday, friends! I’m not going to write a long intro today, because I’m tired and not feeling super inspired. I did want to share my reading progress with you though, so… On to the books! It’s been a great run of reads lately. Like, insanely good, to be honest. I haven’t disliked a single thing I’ve powered through. My most recent three reads all garnered at least 4 stars, with Kiss the Ground coming in at a 5 star rating because of how fascinating it was! If you’re at all interested in learning about our agricultural system, I highly recommend…
