Heather from A Bibliophile’s Paradise asks:
If someone could tell you the exact day, time, and how you would die, would you want to know? Why?

Okay now this, well this is a tough question. Trust me when I say that I’ve thought it out before (mostly during long nights of random conversations with friends) and I actually do have a well thought out answer! Are you ready?

Okay now this, well this is a tough question. Trust me when I say that I’ve thought it out before (mostly during long nights of random conversations with friends) and I actually do have a well thought out answer! Are you ready?
My answer is YES. Yes I would want to know and here are 4 reasons why.
1) If I knew exactly when I was going to die, I could make sure that I accomplished what I really want out of life before then. I’d have a deadline to meet and I’m good with deadlines.
2) Knowing how long you have on this Earth really puts into perspective your “goals”. I would better be able to realize what was really important to me.
3) I could come to terms with my death ahead of time, go through all the grieving and acceptance stages. I would make sure I was proud of my life when it was time to go.
4) This is a big one. If I knew that I would hurt someone immensely by being with them when I passed on, I’d probably be able to avoid a serious relationship.
Sorry to get all deep on everyone here. I told you I put a lot of thought into this! Blame it on multiple glasses of wine and friends that dig deep when we have long discussions. Still, I think it’s good to be introspective! So keep those questions coming no matter how deep they might be.
