An Ending in Sight

Ah friends, the ending to our house renovations is finally in sight! Our contractors have been amazing, and now we’re in the stage of just cleaning things up and polishing things up. In fact, we’ve actually been able to move back into part of our house and it has been so appreciated. Sharing a single room with a husband a dog, when we both have to work out of it and also eat/relax/sleep in it was pretty exhausting. But the newness of our house is so worth it. Living in an 80 year old house that is now less creaky and squeaky is wonderful.

On the reading front, I’ve actually been plugging along and am sticking to my reading goal. I haven’t really felt much like writing a lot of reviews, but honestly it’s been a really good few months of reading. I’ve read an insane amount of great books, and some listened to some beautifully done audiobooks as well. As a way to wind down, reading has always been key for me. So it’s nice that I’ve not had any duds in a while!
