It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (12/28/20)

Good morning friends! We have made it to the last Monday of the year. How are we feeling? If you’re like me, you might feel torn between having hope and worrying that we’re in for a lot more of the same. But the good thing is that we’ve made it this far! We’ve survived. That is something to celebrate.

Anyway, enough rambling from me. Let’s get back to bookish things. I think I’ve been doing pretty well at posting in here semi-regularly, and plan to push that into the new year! I enjoy this a lot!

Read Last Week:

I have been as deep as I can go into Christmas romances, because they are something cozy and warm. I tell you, Helen J. Rolfe has the whole sweet holiday romance down to a science. This is the second in the series, and I loved it just as much as the first one! So fun, so wonderful.

Currently Reading:

My sweet husband bought me The Neil Gaiman Reader for Christmas, and I quite literally squealed when I opened it. He is my favorite writer, and if I ever needed something tried, true and cozy right now is the time. I’ve promised myself to read a little of this every night and take my time. It’s a tome, but I welcome slowly going through it.

I’ve also started A California Christmas by Brenda Novak, because I wanted more seasonal romance. So far I’m enjoying it immensely. The audio version is lovely, and the story is quite sweet. Here’s hoping that the ending is exactly what I hope it will be.

Reading Next:

I was approved to read this last week and, unsurprisingly, I once again squealed about it! I LOVED Sadie, and I’ve been looking forward to The Project since it was first teased. I cannot wait to read this!

That’s it for me! What are you reading this week?
