It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? (6/6/16)

Click above to join in the fun! After a second long weekend in a row, this Monday is kicking my behind. The good news is that I actually got quite a bit of reading done, and a lot of relaxing. So I can’t complain too much :). Plus, I get to finally go on vacation at the end of next week! So that’s something to look forward to. Anyway, enough rambling. Here’s my bookish outlook.

Some pretty adorable reads this weekend! All of my library holds came in at the same time, so I had a lot of good reading over the weekend. I finished up Curiosity House: The Screaming Statue, which was just as fabulous as the first book. Zodiac Starforce: By the Power of Astra was a wonderful graphic novel. Seriously, Paulina Ganucheau’s artwork is to die for. Ava and Taco Cat was tear jerkingly adorable as well. All amazing 4 star reads! Not picture is Marvel Zombies 3 which I also read. Hilarious, bloody, and all kinds of zombie fun. I recommend any one of these!

Truthwitch is my current audio book, and so far I’m liking it. The narrator is great, and the story has finally peaked my interest as more about this world is unveiled. Some Kind of Happiness is another library borrow and it’s a simply gorgeous book. I’ve had to take breaks from reading because Claire Legrand so perfectly nails anxiety, that it hits a little too hard at times. I totally understand Finley, and I keep getting all teary eyed.

Pretty darn excited to start What Happens Now as my next read. I’m on a book tour for this book, and I love Jennifer Castle. I have high hopes!
